Advanced Drawing Tools (ADT) is a drawing and annotation add-on for Bookmap. Pick from 26 drawing tools and arrange the palette the way you work, with layers to keep a busy chart readable.
It also draws scheduled levels and profiles every trading day, raises price cross alarms, reads out risk, and keeps a per-day journal. ADT has two interface modes. Both carry the same tools and the same settings. What changes is how much of the organizing machinery is on screen.
Drawing tools and the core object list. The objects window carries Objects and Review. Nothing is lost by starting here.
Adds Layers and Storyboard to the objects window, and turns on Quick Annotations. The switch is in Settings, under General.
The drawing tools are one part of ADT. It also draws levels and profiles on a schedule, raises alarms, reads out risk, keeps a journal by trading day, and helps you walk back through a session and share it.

Box a range to see its volume, signed delta, value area and mPOC. ADT CVD draws cumulative volume delta in Bookmap's bottom graph, and a horizontal line or ray can link to it. R.V.P. →
Set an alarm on a horizontal line, ray, trend line or channel, with a direction, a repeat choice and a sound for that drawing. An optional spoken alert reads the line's name.
Price Range measures a move, and Long and Short positions show risk, reward and the reward-to-risk ratio. Both read in ticks and points, with dollars for listed contracts or a $ per point you enter.

Numbered callouts build a checklist with a legend box on the chart. Notes, text labels, comments and callouts save as templates: pick one from the tool's right-click menu and your next chart click places it, a whole checklist in one click.

The palette is a window you move where you want it, and it remembers where you put it. A new install opens on the HUD, so the chart is visible from the start. Switch layouts whenever you like.
Every tool in a wide strip with its caption showing, so nothing has to be recognized from an icon alone.

The palette bends to how you work.
Drag tools into the order you want and hide the ones you never use. The text-size buttons scale it to your screen, and a badge on the header counts what is on the chart, so 247 objects is never a surprise.
Close the palette. Keep the controls close.
When you close the palette, you can leave a small, movable ADT icon on your chart. Left-click it to reopen the palette. Right-click it to open Settings, Objects, Journal, or Quick Note, to open Scheduled settings, or to show and hide scheduled R.V.P.s, levels and scheduled lines.
Show the drawing tools you actually use, hide the rest, and drag them into the order that suits you. These are all 26 in their default order, shown with the same glyphs and their full names.
Horizontal and vertical lines, rays, and Buyers and Sellers zones land at the price you click. Consolidation brackets open to the right with a movable HVN line.
Trend Line, Arrow Line and Fibonacci use two clicks. Arc, Channel and Measured Move use three. Polyline keeps accepting anchors until Enter. Hold Shift while placing an Ellipse to constrain it to a circle.
Long Position and Short Position place a complete position template at the entry. Price Range reads out a price span, while Measured Move projects a leg forward.
Text Labels and Notes stay where you mark them. Comments use an aimed leader, while Numbered Callouts connect a numbered bubble to its chart anchor. All four can be placed from a saved template.
Every line can be solid, dashed or dotted. Fibonacci ships with the standard levels and you can edit them, and its level labels can have their own background. Angled tools can raise an alarm when price crosses them.
Two clicks box a time and price range. Every trade executed inside the box is counted, and the volume at each price draws as a bar growing from the box's left edge. The longest bar is the most-traded price.
The mPOC marks the box's most-traded price. Show it as a straight line, or as a migration path that steps through where acceptance moved as the profile developed.
Each gets its own color, thickness and style, can extend to the right, and can carry a label.
Auto-extend keeps the right edge on the live price line. An R.V.P. cannot be placed past that line.
Double-click a box to open R.V.P. Appearance. Every change previews live before you commit it, and Cancel or Esc rolls back to what you started with. The counts use the market's executed trades, never your own fills.
Signed Delta bars show aggressive buying and selling at each price. In 1.5p the delta counts aggressive buys as buying, the same way ADT CVD and Bookmap do. Right-click the R.V.P. tool to schedule a daily profile or choose which layer receives new R.V.P. drawings. See what changed →
These features are included in 1.6 and 1.6.1.
Click the scheduled line button on the palette, then click the chart at a time. A box asks "Draw this every trading day?" and sets the shape (Vertical line, Horizontal line or Ray), the time, an optional end, the look and the price. While the box is open the line draws on the chart as a preview. Save makes a locked scheduled line; Cancel or Esc makes nothing.
A symbol can have up to 4 opening sessions, for example EU and US, each with its own opening time, timezone, windows, labels and look. The timezone list adds London time and Frankfurt time, and a line under the opening time shows where the session opens on your chart today. A new Open row draws the first traded price at or after the opening time as a level tagged Open.
Settings > Scheduled shows one list of all your scheduled lines. Each line draws on All symbols or on one symbol, and a chart draws every All symbols line plus the lines set to its own symbol. Lines have an Opacity slider, a Text size for the name, a None (caption only) style, and Run past for horizontal lines and rays. An end time earlier than the start runs overnight.
Share schedule sends a symbol's scheduled lines, opening range and IB sessions, overnight settings and scheduled R.V.P.s as a code or a file. Only settings are sent, and every shared time keeps its own clock. When you bring one in, lines you already have are left out, and Undo last import puts back what the last import replaced, also after a Bookmap restart.
Settings > General starts with Basics: Your clock, the clock ADT shows times in, and Settings text size, from 70 to 150 percent. A scheduled R.V.P. row shows Not applied yet until you apply a change. The Objects window shows the chart you last clicked, or the chart you switch to with its tab, and names it under the object count.
Picking a template from the Text label, Note, Numbered callout or Comment tool's right-click menu leaves the tool armed with it, and your next chart click places it. Callout templates have Tail color and Tail width, and after you save one ADT offers to update the legends on the chart that came from it. What's New keeps earlier releases under Earlier versions.
These features arrived in 1.5p and are part of the current Marketplace build.
The high and low of the first 5, 10 and 15 minutes after the open, and the initial balance for the first 30 and 60 minutes, with an IB Mid line. Add window adds a range of any length you choose. A tag with ? is still forming.
The overnight high and low follow the current Globex session, and Show ONM adds the midpoint. Overnight lines stay until 17:00 ET, the CME daily close. If the data has a gap, type the prices under Set by hand for this session.
Right-click one of these drawings to apply or save a template. Right-click its tool and pick a template, and your next chart click places it. A callout template lays out a whole numbered checklist, and one Undo removes it.
Each new Quick Note shows the symbol it was saved on, for example [19:57:42 ES @ 7749.75]. A filter beside Quick Notes shows All symbols or only the active symbol's notes, and Copy day copies what it shows.
Each row in the Objects tab has an eye button that hides or shows that one drawing. Hidden drawings stay hidden after a restart, and Show all hidden brings them back.
The tour has a new R.V.P. and ADT CVD lesson. Settings > About > Explore controls adds walkthroughs for Drawing templates, Alarms, and Opening range and overnight levels.
These features arrived in 1.4p and are part of the current Marketplace build.
Choose the daily start and end time, instrument, layer, and look. Each profile builds as that session unfolds. New profiles start locked so an accidental drag does not move them.
The CVD subchart shows cumulative volume delta through loaded history and live trades. Right-click a Horizontal Line or Ray to link a CVD reference at that drawing's chart time.
Once you have drawn enough for it to be useful, the problem stops being drawing and starts being finding.
Every drawing is a row you can find, edit, delete or mark to persist, tagged with the layer it belongs to. An eye button on each row hides or shows that one drawing.
Group drawings, then show, hide or lock a whole layer at once. Drag layers into the order you want. A locked layer refuses, quietly and on purpose.
Filter by day, and carry a level forward from a previous session instead of drawing it again.
This is the part that makes ADT more than an annotation tool. It keeps one page per trading day, and the notes you take are tied to the chart you took them on.
A feed of timestamped entries, each stamped with the symbol and the price at the moment you saved it, and carrying a bias chip: Long, Neutral or Short. Filter the feed to the active symbol when you trade more than one.
A free-form area for the day, saved when the window loses focus, when it closes, and when you change day.
Drop a marker the moment something happens and give it a note. Markers collect in time order, and clicking one jumps to it on the chart.
A marker with a note also appears as a linked journal entry. Editing the note updates the entry, and deleting either side cleans up after itself.
A day navigator moves between Prev day, Today and Next day, and past days are read-only history. A pencil button on the palette, or a hotkey, takes a note without leaving the chart.
A Live Room relays shared drawings in real time. Other traders using ADT see the Room layer on the matching Bookmap chart; people without Bookmap can use a read-only web monitoring view. One person holds the pen at a time, so the room stays readable.
People without Bookmap can join a read-only web monitoring view. It shows the Room drawing types its renderer supports over a delayed price backdrop. The backdrop uses 15-minute candles and requests the latest five days by default.
Participants ask for the pen and wait in a first-come queue. The host, or a moderator the host appoints, passes it over and can take it back.
Host, moderator, participant and web watcher. Moderators help run the room and manage the pen. Only the host appoints them.
What arrives from a room lands in a separate Shared Room layer beside your own work rather than mixed into it. Clearing the room wipes the room; your own drawings are untouched. A room holds up to 100 people.
Participants and watchers are anonymous to one another; only the host and appointed moderators see the roster. Everything travels through the relay. ADT never opens a peer-to-peer connection between traders.
A chart with everything on it at once is hard to explain and hard to learn from. Storyboard groups your drawings into steps and reveals them in order, so the chart tells the day the way it happened.
Build steps from the drawings you have selected, name them, and reorder them.
Choose which layers take part, so an unrelated layer does not wander into the story.
Back, Next, Show All and Exit, in their own small controller window.
Save a story's structure as a template and use it again on the next session.
Levels and session boundaries you redraw every morning can be set once and left alone. Scheduled lines are drawn at a set time each trading day, in Live and in Replay, and follow the summer and winter time of their clock.
A full-height line at the scheduled time. Give it an end time and it shades the time from start to end instead.
A line across the chart at the price traded at that time each day, or at a price you type for one symbol. An end time stops it.
That price drawn from the scheduled time to the right, up to the live line, or to an end time where it stops.
Each line has its own time, its own look and its own name, and can break from the defaults where you need it to. Make one in Settings > Scheduled, or click the scheduled line button on the palette and then the chart, and see a preview before you save. Settings > Scheduled holds one list of every scheduled line, and each line draws on All symbols or on one symbol.
Share schedule sends a symbol's whole Scheduled tab as a code or a file, separately from drawings. Lines someone sends you show on your chart, Keep them as mine makes them your own, and Undo last import puts back what the last import replaced.

A tray of up to ten presets for the marks you make over and over. Each keeps its own look and its own slot, and the slot is a stable hotkey, so the preset in slot 3 is always the one slot 3 arms.
Two deliberate actions, so a stamp never lands by accident. The preset disarms itself once placed.
A stamp keeps the look it had when you placed it, so editing a preset later never rewrites marks already on the chart.
The tray switches between a row and a column, and between showing the wording and glyph-only.
Quick Annotations is part of Advanced mode.
You can ignore all of it and just draw, or go in and set the defaults every new drawing starts from.

There is no configuration to get through before you can draw something.
Add ADT to Bookmap's add-ons and enable it on the chart you want it on.
The palette opens. Pick a tool, click the chart. That is the whole loop.
Drawings save per instrument, per session date, in ADT's own folder. Nothing is written into Bookmap's files.

Icons for 70 ADT actions, in three styles (Painted, Midnight and Frost) at 72 and 144 px. Each file is named after the ADT action it matches. Assign a shortcut to the action in Bookmap, record the same shortcut on a Stream Deck key, and set the matching icon. The pack has no profile and no key bindings, so the keys are yours to choose.

Remove takes a drawing out of a story step and leaves it on your chart. Delete erases the drawing, and always asks first.
