EdgeSight — Evidence before conviction

A research workspace for traders who want to know what was observed, which sources were healthy, and whether an idea has survived repeatable session review before they trust it.

Foundation / observation build
Derived observations only
No trade calls or order routing

Research starts with what can be observed.

EdgeSight keeps the record plain: what arrived, what was missing, and what can be evaluated later.

EdgeSight is an ES-futures research add-on for regular trading hours. It keeps observations from different evidence sources separate, records source health, and builds a session-by-session record for later evaluation.

It is not a signal service. The current build makes no trade calls, routes no orders, performs no live self-training, and claims no edge. A missing source stays missing instead of being smoothed into a confident conclusion.

Current status: private RTH field testing of the foundation and observation layer.
What it is

An evidence record

A bounded place to separate observations, check source health, and preserve sessions for reproducible review.

What it is not

A trading oracle

No entries, exits, forecasts, automated decisions, or performance promise. Hypotheses remain hypotheses while the research matures.

Observe. Separate. Verify. Learn.

Each step protects the next one from certainty that the evidence has not earned.

Observe

Capture derived session observations without turning them into a trade instruction.

Separate

Keep each evidence family distinct so one source cannot silently stand in for another.

Verify

Record source health and session completeness before an idea enters evaluation.

Learn

Review reproducible session records over time, with conclusions bounded by the evidence available.

Each observation keeps its own identity.

CompStack profile context and DeepSight evidence integration are being developed and tested as separate inputs to the research record.

Separation

Evidence boundaries

Distinct inputs remain distinct. Missing or conflicting evidence cannot borrow confidence from another source.

Health

Source monitoring

Unavailable, delayed, and recovering inputs remain visible as source-health states rather than disappearing from the record.

Session

RTH discipline

Private field work is organized around regular-hours sessions that can be reviewed consistently after the fact.

Maturity

Research status

This is a foundation and observation build. No forecast, performance claim, or claimed edge is being published.

The research state stays visible.

The current Overview keeps the purpose, foundation-build status, and research baseline in one place.

The research surface stays bounded.

The current work is focused on trustworthy inputs, reproducible evaluation, and recovery behavior before broader claims or availability.

FAIL CLOSED

Missing stays missing

Unavailable or conflicting evidence cannot be promoted into a conclusion merely to keep the screen populated.

LOCAL BOUNDS

Bounded local adapters

Each local connection has a narrow responsibility and remains separate from the research decisions it supplies.

DERIVED ONLY

Derived-data privacy

EdgeSight works with derived observations only. Raw MBO data and order identifiers are never stored or redistributed.

REPEATABLE

Reproducible testing

Recorded sessions are evaluated through repeatable checks so later review can distinguish evidence from interpretation.

RESILIENCE

Live-session recovery

Recovery from temporary evidence-source loss is a design requirement under active testing. It is not yet field-proven.

PRIVATE RTH FIELD TESTING

A public record of research in progress.

EdgeSight remains a foundation and observation build under Sean's private RTH field testing. It is not currently available for outside use. Inquiries about the research are welcome.
